Raising the profile and status of Paralegals through professional development and training
From 1983 to 1989 Amanda worked as a Paralegal in a small International Law firm based in London's West End. In 1989 she left the legal profession to set up a property consultancy and continued to work within that field until 1996.
Working as a Paralegal, it became apparent that there was little professional training to help new Paralegals understand their role fully.
Amanda has dedicated her career to raising the professional standards of Paralegals. She is CEO of The National Association of Licensed Paralegals - NALP, the UK's longest running paralegal membership body which offers nationally certified qualifications for Paralegals.
Alongside these roles, Amanda is also senior tutor for ILSPA - The Institute of Legal Secretaries and PAs.
We work with the industries top membership boards and training centres to provide our graduates with the resources and connections they need to further their career.
